Gridlock crochet shawl

Wanting to add a little drama to your wardrobe? A little spunk and sparkle without all the strife and stress? The Gridlock Crochet Shawl pattern is what answers this call, loud and lovely. The combination of vertical mesh with the diagonal grid stitch pattern give this shawl spice and style while remaining casual enough to throw over a simple tee or saucy jumpsuit.

Just 1 cake

That’s right. Gridlock uses only 638 yd [583 m] Anzula Luxury Fibers, Breeze. Shown in the color Prudence. The cakes are wound to a lavish 750 yd [686 m].
Breeze is a lace weight yarn, but definitely on the heavier side of “lace”, which is perfect. Enough weight to give the shawl some structure, but light enough to have drape for days. Of course, some of the amazing flow must be credited to the fiber content, 65% silk 35% linen. Ooo La La, indeed.

note Amount given is for shawl as written. Yardage will vary with any alterations of pattern.
